The BDPL opened its second Winter Season with a fresh new format with a new start time of 8pm with matches now being played over 15 Frames!

In the Premiership it was definitely a night for the away teams starting with the newly crowned Summer League Champions, Club 8, got off to a good solid start by despatching the Golden Farmer 10-5 on a tricky table at the Farmer!
The second match of the evening saw the two teams defeated semi-finalists from the Summer League as the Bridge hosted The William Twigg A, and it was the Twigg A who disposed of the Bridge House with ease in a comfortable 10-5 win.
The third Premiership match of the evening threw out a great result for The Sun as they got some revenge on the Crowthorne Club who had beaten them twice in the Summer League by hammering the Crowthorne Club lads 12-3 on their own table!
The fourth match of the evening had the Green Man hosting the Sandhurst Sports Club and the Sandhurst lads walked away with a very nice 10-5 win
The fifth match found two of the newly promoted teams and the Woodcutters edge out the Prince of Wales in a narrow 8-7 away win
The final match between The Blue Lion and the Dukes Head had to be postponed.

In Division One Club 8 A entertained the Crown Wood and made the home advantage count recording a 10-5 home victory.
In the second match in Division One the Club 8 B side didn’t fare as well at home as they entertained the recently relegated Squirrels and narrowly missed out on victory as the Squirrels sneaked away with an 8-7 victory!
The third match found the Goose hosting the Golden Farmer B and in a closely contested match the Goose sneaked a narrow victory winning 8-7
The fourth match had the Village Inn, who powered to an impressive 10-5 victory when they hosted the Royal Oak.
The Final match played was at the Newtown Pippin who hosted the Crowthorne Inn who have just joined the league and found themselves on the wrong side of a 10-5 result as the Pippin ran out winners!
We still have one missing result for the Twigg B vs The Cannie Man so can we take this opportunity to remind all that results and scorecards need to be sent through to Jamie by the winning captain. Jamie’s mobile number and email address are on the scorecard.
